1,700 science fiction works in paperback,ning the late 1960s to the 2000s. Different titles with few to no duplicates. Very well preserved collection overall.
Most books seem to have been read very carefully, retaining uncreased spines. Some age-toning to the more vintage titles.
A few with remainder marks on the bottom of the text block. Occasional light creasing to edges. No inscriptions as far as we can see.
Please supersize gallery images to see the spines of each book. A wonderful opportunity to acquire a huge single-owner collection of science fiction paperbacks. Too many authors / titles to name individually, however we have provided very large gallery images so that you can see these for yourselves, as well as the nice condition of the all-important spines. The collector who owned these books clearly knew how to read paperbacks properly without straining the spines or creasing the pages to mark his place.
Indeed, many seem unread or very lightly read. The collection includes many vintage titles from the late 1960s (a few) and 1970s (a good number), as well as more modern titles from the 1980s-90s (many) through to about 2005. Most have very cool covers, which we have been unable to photograph individually. We are marking this lot as'collection only' from our base in Ascot, Berkshire. You will need a van and a strong back to move them all. They weigh perhaps somewhere close to one tonne!
