Baseline/Cinebooks MOTION PICTURE GUIDE Very rare complete set 26 volumes
This is an incredibly rare opportunity to acquire a complete 26-volume set of the long out of print Baseline/Cinebooks Motion Picture Guide. The original 12-volume set covering the period up to 1984, including the separate volume on the silent era and a 2-volume index. Every supplementary annual, 14 volumes, covering the period from 1985 to 1999. I have never seen a complete start-to-finish set for sale anywhere.
The original 12-volume set occasionally turns up, and individual annuals, but I spent years tracking down a full set. The later annuals in particular are very rare. The original 12-volume set is not ex-library, this was bought from a private collector and is in very good condition for age. The 14 supplementary annuals vary in condition.
Most of them are okay, but a few are ex-library and marked up accordingly-as a result some of these are cosmetically poor. However, the spines/bindings of all are fine and intact and of course it's the content that matters and it's all there. The condition of these volumes is acceptable to own a rare complete set. Displayed on a shelf, as shown in the main photo, they look okay if a little worn.Don't miss this unique opportunity.
