Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars is a reference book released in 2005 which presents the costumes that have appeared in all six Star Wars films. Written by Trisha Biggar (costume designer for the prequel trilogy), it includes a foreword by producer Rick McCallum, introduction by actress Natalie Portman, and preface by writer/director George Lucas. This Limited, Deluxe Edition of Dressing a Galaxy, which comes in a massive clamshell box with silk obi wrap, includes the hardcover book with various bound-in booklets containing additional information not found in the regular edition, 16 additional pages of color costume photos, "Cut From a Different Cloth" digital costumes booklet, a companion DVD, replica Wookie belt buckle, swatch of Darth Vader cape material, plus additional cloth swatches in an accordion folder, and a certificate of authenticity. It is personally signed by the author and famed costume designer Trisha Biggar. It has a low number #443. This is an rare and incredible collector's item. NOTE: Swatches included in the folder were randomly selected by the publisher so not all fabrics pictured have corresponding swatches attached. Also, keep in mind that the swatches were cut from bolts of leftover fabric in Lucasfilm's archives and not from actual costumes. The book still has it original shipper carton.
