The book is in very fine unread condition, solidly bound, sits square and the corners are sharp.There is the slightest bump to the base of the spine. The dust jacket is not price clipped and is in fine condition.
Very slight wear to the mat black rear panel but there are no tears or nicks and the edges are crisp. Now protected in archival sleeve. Overall an excellent copy of this fascinating Booker winner. The hardback edition was never reprinted and first editions are pretty scarce.
