A superb life size bookcase in the form of a robot. Dating to 2008, this is a huge display piece that was commissioned by SONY for their advertising campaign Imagination Emporium, for the Sony Xperia. Firstly, its a one off piece and its of epic proportions! Standing over 1.8 metres tall, the robot is made of steel, hand painted and very strong and heavy.

The bookcase could have many functional options. A bookcase for the kids room, maybe a shop window display or maybe something for an art installation. We also believe this would appeal to sci-fi fans and of course robot fans too.

We are offering this piece in as found condition, therefore there is some natural wear and tear. There are some surface scuffs and marks across the robot and some paint chipping in areas. It also is a little tatty and dirty in places, but this simply needs a proper good clean. We feel the current condition simply adds to its authenticity and charm.

Please do review the photos as it would be difficult to highlight all of the imperfections. Please note : The robot does come in two parts and is bolted together halfway down the frame.

Dimensions : Depth : 30cm, Width : 80cm, Height : 186cm. Condition : Structurally good, some surface scars and marks, some paint chipping, a little tatty and dirty in places.
