Signed 1st Ed DRAGONFLIGHT Anne McCaffrey HC/DJ 1969 WALKER PERN BOOK

Difficult to find first hardcover edition/first printing of the first book of Pern, published by Walker. Signed on the title page at Dragoncon 2004. An unusually nice ex-library copy.

The book has 2 stamps and a faint tape shadow on the FFP, and one stamp and card pocket (5 checkout stamps) on the REP, no other ex-lib marks. The book also has a slight lean and a 1 tear in the front gutter, but the binding is solid. The dust jacket has no ex-lib marks, a 1/4" closed tear on the top of the front, a shadow on the inside 1" x 1/4 which is not visible from the exterior, and a barely visible moisture stain on the front lower corner which extends to the lower part of the front flap.
